Running Accomplishments:

My biggest highlight was completing my first 1/2 marathon this past August 2012! I never in a million years thought I would ever attempt anything like this! Last year I was happy to complete a 5K, this year when I finished my first 10K I was thrilled!

Short-Term Running Goals:

I am planning on running another 1/2 marathon the end of February, Dog Town Marathon in Washington, UT. I am also running a half in the Ogden Marathon this May with some friends. My big goal this year is to run the full marathon this fall in St. George!! 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would really love to qualifty and run in the Boston Maraton just once!!

Personal:

I am married and a mother of three lovely little girls!  I have three dogs, 2 Boston Terriors and 1 Yellow Pointer Lab and two cats!  My husband and I love to travel! Favorite music group is Matchbox Twenty, love Rob Thomas!

I went to a flex class at the Community Center, then after the class I ran on the tredmill with the tredmill hit program! It was rough!

Today I ran 7.01 miles outside with Bri. We ran up Washington Fields road and turned and ran down the Washington Dam Rd and then back home a slightly different way. It felt really good and we kept a pace of 8:43 per mile. My left knee is pretty sore now though!

I did a flex class today. I was also invited to go to a speed training workout tonight! I have never done one of those classes before but due to family things and laziness I didn't go, next week for sure!

Today's run was great! My husband rode his bike with me while I ran! The time always goes by faster when someone is with ya! We then took the dogs for a walk because they hate when I take off without them! they are too little and young to run that far yet!

I went to my flex class today and then after that I hit the tredmill and ran a work out of called tredmill hit, it is a 20 min. speed drill. It lasted about 2 miles and then I just kept running it out for 5 miles at a slower speed!

It was a good thing I was running with a friend today or I probably would not have gone because I was not feeling it! It ended up being a great run! She took me through Little Field and back to our houses! We kept a pretty good pace, 8:50! I am always glad I went and felt great after!

Due to having to take my daughter to the doctor and finding out she has strep throat that put a damper on my running for today and I am sure tomorrow since she wont be able to go to school because she will still be contagious, poor thing! So I hit the eliptical on the hardest work out I could get! It did work me out and was a good change from running! That is life folks, you never know what is going to get in the way and mess your day up but my day ended up not being messed up, it was great spending it caring for my little girl and knowing that I was the only one that could make her feel better!

Today I had a lot of errands to get done and I didn't want to go out too early in the cold so I hit the gym and ran on the tredmill. I had been struggling all week to run because my daughter had been sick and I had lost the drive! I was so glad I went I felt so better after I was done!!!

Today I went to the gym and went to my flex class, which was great! I had my husband drop me off and then I wanted to run home. It is only a little over 4 miles from the gym to my house. It was a little rainy but I didn't let that stop me! I wanted to try to work on my speed and I was pretty happy with myself! I kept a 8:07 pace, that is the fastest I have ran yet! It was definetly a challenge and I couldn't last too much longer but it was a nice accomplishment for me! yay for the little things in life!

I was so excited to run a 9 mile route I had planned out, but then it started raining pretty good! I guess I am not that dedicated of a runner as I thought because I decided not to run in the rain but I was not going to miss my long run for the week! I ended up running at the gym on the tredmill! I kept a pace of 9:05 which I was happy about.

I was trying to get my dog to come with me, she is still a pup and i am trying to train her to put her hornas on. she gets so excited that i couldn't get it on her. After trying for about 20 mins then smashing my finger i gave up and left her home and took off! It was a good and needed run!

Today I went to my flex class. Then that evening I went to a spinning class. It has been forever since I went to a spinning class, but since one of my friends is the instructor she talked me into going, it was great!

Today I had my flex class i went to and then after I got on the tredmill and did the tredmill hit! it is a speed work out! i really was not feeling like running it today and not very motivated, but once i got running, it was just what my body needed i felt fabulous!! that night I also played basketball, which i haven't done for years!
